HOPE (Healthy Opportunities that Protect and Empower)

The HOPE Program at Texas Baptist Children’s Home serves children and families primarily through apartment ministries in the Round Rock community.

Programs include after school "Kids Club" for elementary age children and "Youth Leadership" for middle and high school students.

Activities include field trips and community service projects, with programs focusing on social skills, arts & crafts, and improving self image. HOPE also works with parents to help improve family dynamics.

The goal of the HOPE ministry is to establish and build a positive and nurturing relationship with the children and families in order to provide a consistent, positive influence in their lives.

In addition, HOPE offers referrals to community services for families who may be experiencing challenging life events, including physical, emotional or economic hardships due to a family crisis or emergency situation.
