STARRY Services

STARRY provides supportive services based on Christian values for children, youth and families.

The Counseling Program offers counseling services to families with children from birth to 17 years of age who need assistance resolving family conflict, eliminating truancy or runaway behaviors, and avoiding delinquent conduct. The program helps families communicate effectively before residential placement is needed.

The Emergency Shelter serves children who need immediate protection from life-threatening circumstances. In addition, we provide emergency shelter care for children referred by their families who match our mission and programs based on the amount of space available.

Foster Care utilizes families in the community as a resource for children who temporarily need to live away from their families due to a crisis, often abuse or neglect. We invite you to attend our next orientation meeting to learn more about becoming a foster parent.

The SAFE Program was created to provide a safe haven for runaway and homeless youth while working with their families, as well as to prevent other kids from following in the same path.
